Sundance spa covers have many variables in which to consider and yet,
the average Sundance hot tub owner has little to no idea what questions
to ask, nor what to look for when replacing their Sundance spa cover.
There are a few very imperative components to a well-produced Sundance
spa cover that anyone should know and understand. Sundance spa covers
will have a bare minimum of 28 ounce marine grade vinyl if manufactured
by a reputable company, but top notch manufactures will use 30 ounce
marine grade vinyl because they are constructing a Sundance spa cover
with the intent for it to last more than 5 years. It is also important
for Sundance spa covers to have at least 1lb closed cell virgin foam
which many hot tub owners are not aware of why this is so important. It
is important that when Sundance hot tub covers are being purchased that
this aspect is noted. Sundance spa covers should “taper down” meaning
they are thicker in the center and gradually flow down with a minimum of
1.5 inches. This will avoid any pudding that could occur on top of the
Sundance spa cover
